Meet Our Team

Sharon is a longtime resident of Plantation, Fort Lauderdale,FL. She went to Plantation, Fort Lauderdale, FL High School and furthered her education to achieve a master's degree in Fine Arts from FAU. After pursuing her passion as a performer and teacher in the arts, she started her career in the dental and medical field and has been the glue of this practice since 1991. Sharon is extremely knowledgeable so she can help our patients with any insurance claims, appointments, and office related questions.

Osiris, affectionately known as Osi, was born in Havana, Cuba and moved to Florida in 1985. She has over 20 years experience in dentistry and is a certified orthodontic assistant. She is very gentle and always makes the patients feel comfortable. Osi is married with two daughters and enjoys spending time with her family.

Maria is originally from Venezuela. She came to Florida in 2004. Maria joined our team in 2016, prior to this, she worked as an orthodontic laboratory technician for many years. Maria is multi-functional, where she exceeds in assisting, front desk and lab work. Maria is very friendly and welcoming. In her spare time she likes to enjoy quality time with her daughters and traveling.

Gibelle is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant, and has been part of the Caponera team for 2 years, where she is dedicated to ensure our patients always feel comfortable, safe and well informed during their visits. With over 12 years of experience, as a foreign certified orthodontist, has a strong background in dental and orthodontic patient care of all ages. She got her graduate degree in general dentistry back in 2004 and postgraduate specialty in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics in 2008, at Universidad Iberoamericana Unibe in the Dominican Republic. She loves her work and being part of helping people improve their smiles. Out of the office she enjoys spending time with her family and taking care of her daughter.

Isamar is from Venezuela, where She graduated as a dentist from the Central University of Venezuela. Currently, She is continuing studying to be a dentist in this country. She has been an orthodontic assistant with since 2019. She loves running and training in the gym, every morning. She spends my free time with my husband and her dog, Jazz. She likes working within a team environment and helping everyone in the office as needed.

Arantxa is the youngest of the crew and is currently a full-time college student. She is majoring in biology and plans on going to dental school once she graduates. When she is not in class, she can be found in the office assisting with front-desk duties and patients. Outside of the office, she enjoys listening to Taylor Swift, reading, and going on trips.
